You are part of the team that creates and implements opportunities to deliver incremental business through Trade Marketing and Partnership activities. You will use a variety of levers to negotiate joint business plans to delivery marketing activity which both secures existing income but identifies and delivers opportunities for incremental investment whilst ensuring activity is operational.
There is a good calendar of activity in this well established area of the business and you would be expected to ensure this is maximised, but also that other opportunities are sought out through marketing activity, partnerships, commercialising assets and local marketing activity.
You will be working closely with the operational teams so that trade marketing initiatives can be designed with a good understanding of operational processes (including procurement and supply chain) and the impact on front line activity, and in order to support the teams on compliance.
Building strong and collaborative relationships with suppliers and partners is critical to ensure all marketing opportunities are maximised. This person would be looking at managing these at multiple levels, this is with in the account management and the marketing team and to work closely with the purchasing team to unlock new opportunities.
