This is an extremely exciting opportunity to work for one of the UK's fastest growing companies in the tech-led food space.    

Our client is looking for an ambitious and innovative foodie who can get to the heart of what matters to consumers and what they want and then knows how to deliver this.  It’s a challenging role where you will need to evaluate market opportunities, conduct consumer research and then define and build a growth strategy across a portfolio to drive sales across all channels.
Reporting into a Head of Brand and as part of a broader marketing team, you will be responsible for tracking the performance of existing and new products, recommending renovation and optimisation to ensure the optimal range is on offer to drive growth in store and online.  
You will also develop and lead out an 18- month innovation and renovation pipeline as part of a cross functional team, owning proposition development for new products and packaging innovation from concept to launch.

Skills and experience needed for the role:
  • Solid FMCG food or drink innovation background, ideally with experience of working in a start-up/ scale up/ high-growth business, or experience of launching and growing smaller start up brands.
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering long-term innovation pipeline and launching new propositions
  • Broader FMCG brand management experience – gained at some point during your marketing career.
  • Understanding of insight methodologies – interpretation and application (qual and quant).
  • Concept ideation, test and development of new propositions
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Experience working with cross functional teams in a fast and agile manner.

  • The initiative and self-confidence to come up with ideas, propose them and make them happen without being spoon fed and the maturity to engage with senior stakeholders
  • Good attention to detail and be highly organised
