About you Ideally you will come from an FMCG background and have a really high EQ. You will be an advocate for doing the right thing, taking colleagues and consumers on a journey and taking charge to get things done. Experience wise, you'll be classically trained with some category management experience thrown in for good measure. You will be highly commercial and very insights driven. You will really want to get to the bottom of how consumers buy your products and know how to really drive a product hard. You will be a real hybrid marketer of both creative and hugely commercial. Full through the line experience would be hugely beneficial for this role!
About the role This role is responsible for brand ownership of a major brand; brand marketing, strategic and annual planning, sales budget and KPI objectives and briefing brand requirements of new product development and it’s subsequent implementation.
Ensure delivery of 18 month marketing programme; encompassing brand positioning, strategies and key activities. Set brand and financial KPIs, interpreting consumer research, sales data, business priorities and the trading environment. Ensure contingency and tactical plans are in place to respond quickly.
You will be accountable for full through the line marketing and will have a pretty sizable budget to play with. You will also work with portfolio development teams to define and quantify opportunities for innovation and NPD over 18 months to 2 years; plus develop concepts and propositions.
