The role:
Reporting to the head of Marketing you will:
Develop annual Comms strategy & plan with engagement from key stakeholders
Lead communications planning for new product releases
Own the brand communications calendar for owned channels (email, website and social)
Develop and lead the social media strategy
Identify influencers and advocates and build engagement with these groups
Influence and persuade of a variety of people in changing situations
Have extensive contacts within PR and media related to the cycling industry
The person:
Great relationships with key relevant media publications and channels
Existing network and knowledge of the industry to identify stories that will appeal to the consumer
Seek out opportunities with internal and external stakeholders to grow media coverage
Great at storytelling, content writing and copy creation
Social Media savvy - strategic planning plus implementing calendars and reporting on success
Experience managing a direct report/ team
Be flexible to changing situations and continuously strive to seek out opportunities and achieve a result
