As the Category Manager you will have 4 key areas that you look after, this role will see you work as part of the commercial team maximising profit and minimising risk through a structured analytical approach across the brands.
Ensure effective analysis of all activities within commercial plans, work across the range of multiple brands, aligned with the purchasing,brand and NPD teams.
Look at the current category performance to shape and implement change to drive the sales and profit.
Work with the brand managers to ensure consistent implementation of the agreed strategy at brand level.
Ensure a pricing strategy is maintained and delivered by brand product and category profitability.
You will be working in partnership with purchasing, brand team and NPD to deliver the best solutions for the business. Ideally you will be numerate and astute with advanced IT skills. You need to demonstrate a clear understanding of the considerations required when reviewing activity and developing a forecast for new activity, with a focus on driving sales and profit.
