FMCG Brand Manager + £40-48k + car + bonus

Our client is looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial ABM or BM with FMCG food experience and high commercial awareness to take ownership of a market leading UK brand - which is enjoyed nationally as a household staple.

This is an extremely exciting opportunity to work for a leading UK grocery company, within a large and highly competitive sector with full PYL responsibility. It's a challenging role where you will need to build highly creative strategies and tactical plans to gain cut through. You will work on brand partnerships to drive engagement and loyalty and develop digital and social media plans and brand activations.

This is your chance to gain profile and make a real impact in a fast paced business, working closely with the commercial and category teams to develop compelling and cohesive marketing plans for key grocery customers to drive profitable growth with NPD and packaging innovation.

Skills needed for the role
  • Proven marketing experience in FMCG or packaged goods with an interested in food and consumer trends.
  • Great commercial skills - understanding of key market trends and competitor insights
  • Previous experience of managing a P&L and understanding key profitability drivers and how you leverage growth through a P&L
  • Digital/social media experience - briefing agencies, developing advertising and managing social media campaigns.
  • Innovation and packaging experience - including value engineering.
  • Experience in building up annual and 3 year marketing plans, working with designers and agencies to deliver both BTL and ATL marketing activity, and brand activation/execution
  • Great communication and influencing skills - with internal stakeholders such as other members of the cross-functional team and grocery customers. Able to deliver clear action plans and make robust recommendations
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial manner - with speed, accuracy, flair and can-do attitude.
