Head of PR Paying to £65k Based in London Fantastic stand-alone PR role in this entrepreneurial, fast paced alcohol brand based in central London. To date they have used lots of agencies and they are looking to bring the PR in house. Although the role doesn’t have direct report you will work closely with other members of the marketing brand and comms team and also be able to use the existing PR agencies and contacts as an extension of your team. This is not your typical PR role and is less traditional in its approach. So don’t expect to just be pulling together presentations, dealing with public enquiries, or writing a press release to announce a new brand launch. This role is looking for someone who can do the fundamentals of PR but do things differently, whether that is using content to inform creative PR strategies across digital channels and partnerships, or creating crazy stunts and experiential activations to working with influencers or brand partners that are just a little bit different – anything that create real buzz and talkability. Ideally you will have gained experience in a client side/ in-house role, or a mix of agency and client side could also work well. This role is a real mix of strategy and creativity but also being able to be quite hands on. Industry wise- ideally an FMCG / alcohol background would be an obvious fit, but we would also consider candidates who have experience in smaller challenger brands- be it in FMCG or other sectors, or within other disruptive, quirky brands where you have managed to push boundaries and make an impact.
