Corporate and Social Responsibility
At Ball and Hoolahan, we take our Corporate Social Responsibility extremely seriously and do a great deal to give back to society.
The charity that we choose to work with is Cancer Research UK. Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent cancer charity dedicated to saving lives through research, influence and information. Their aim is to reduce the number of deaths from cancer while their vision is to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
As a team, Ball and Hoolahan are committed to making the company as sustainable as possible. We have installed various recycling bins around the office, including a food waste bin, coffee cup bin, glass bottle bin, and general recycling bin for plastic, paper, and tin. We were recently awarded a certificate from first mile for our efforts to recycle in 2021. During the year we recycled 94% of our waste, sent nothing to landfill, and saved 1 tonne of CO2. We’re committed to reducing our carbon footprint and work paperless whenever possible. In addition to this 50% of the team cycle to work on a regular basis. We also make a conscious effort to reduce our digital footprint by usingEcosia(who use their profits to plant trees) as our preferred search engine, and deleting unnecessary emails and files to reduce our cloud storage.
